About GAMDAN Optics

 Gathering more than 50 years of experience in high temperature nonlinear optical crystal growth, GAMDAN was officially incorporated in 2006, primarily to grow LBO.  Our crystal growth expertise goes back to the team that grew the first ß-BBO in the 1980s. 

Since 1995, our fabrication team has provided optical fabrication services to major laser companies in the Silicon Valley.

In our production, service, and R&D center located in San Jose, California, we grow BBO and LBO crystals of exceptional quality.  We also fabricate LBO, BBO, KTP and Nd:YVO4 crystals in-house for a variety of high power optical applications.  We provide contract fabrication services, including single crystal X-ray Orientation, cutting, dicing, polishing and inspection.  For a full listing of our products and services, please click here.

In order to consistently deliver top quality parts, GAMDAN has established a Quality and Traceability system based on FDA and ISO guidelines.  All products are tracked internally from synthesis to packaging.  All fabrication procedures are documented and followed precisely by trained technicians.  Documents are tracked internally and handled securely.  All shipments come with an inspection report and traceability data.  Internal quality control measurements are available upon request.


 We understand the need of our customers to keep all design information confidential throughout the R&D and production processes.  We have systems in places to make sure all customer information is handled securely and with the strictest discretion.
