PRECISION CRYSTAL MANUFACTURING SPECIALIZING IN LBO, BBO, KTP & YV04
LBO
Power, Stability, Lifetime
LBO (Lithium Triborate, LiB3O5) is one of the most useful nonlinear optical materials not just for its relatively large conversion coefficient (3x that of KDP), but also for its excellent physical properties. Through our continuous improvement process, GAMDAN Optics ensures our LBO has the best durability, damage threshold, and absorption on the market. (Request more information on your quality system)
BBO
BBO (Beta-Barium Borate) (β-BaB2O4) is a versatile nonlinear optical crystal with a combination of a number of unique features: wide transparency region, broad phase-matching range, large nonlinear coefficient and high damage threshold.
BBO is one of the few practical crystals for use below 500 nm in Second Harmonic Generation (SHG) and Sum Frequency Mixing (SFM). BBO can be uses with CW light, nanosecond pulses or ultra fast pulses. It can produce output SHG for SFM light in the ultraviolet down to 190nm.
BBO is used for high rep rate, high power Q-switching applications in which the length along the z-axis is critical. (Contact us for your applications requiring >20mm length)
KTP
GAMDAN Optics offers KTP crystals (Potassium Titanyl Phosphate, KTiOPO4) that are hydrothermally as well as flux-grown. Both of these varieties offer a low absorption rate (especially hydrothermally grown), excellent homogeneity, high mechanical stability, and a UV grade super polish, with minimum roughness, for an optimal high-power performance. They also boast of a high damage threshold and a wide optical bandwidth.
From high energy long pulsed medical lasers to high average power nanosecond commercial lasers, wherever GTR-KTP (Gray Tracking Resistant Potassium Titanyl Phosphate) is needed, our hydrothermally grown KTP crystals outperform all competition. In fact, customers report lower system maintenance and more than 2x uptime since switching to our KTP. (Contact us for absorption and damage threshold data on our KTP)
